fishinalot
I have the Lowrance H20 with a Ram mount and the cradle for the it. I would like to find a universal type cradle to hold it with the protective plastic case so I can use it on the 4-wheeler and keep it protected from the rain/snow etc.Does anyone know where to get a cradle that would work on a Ram Mount that would be large enough for both the H20 with the plastic protective case on it??Thanks
LakeDocktor
the H2O is waterproof. You really shouldnt need a protective case unless you plan on going through a lot of mud. I have no idea where you would find something that would hold it tight enough other than the Stearns cradle or Lobster cradle. You may need to modify to work with the RAM mount. Spazzums08
I've never seen one designed for that, but what I'd do is bring it in to a store where the employees can open the RAM mounts (depending on the packaging style) and you can try it on. Other than that, I'm not sure.
Will
cabela's had a plastic case that allows you to still hit the buttons. check with them to see if they still carry it.
fishinalot
It looks like I will have to go in and try to customize one to fit the Ram.
Xplorer
I know this sounds pretty crude/basic, but try a good thickness ziploc. I have used my H2O on my sled inside a tank bag, and I put it inside a freezer ziploc and I can still push all the buttons (except the off button) from outside the tank bag with my fingers (gloves will NOT work)
