POWERBAIT or GULP

i normally use powerbaits for walleye fishing, and have tried gulp once.( but the bag had a nick in it and they dried out! mad.gif) i normally use the minnows,grubs,and worms.

do you feel that one is better than they other? reasons? del

In the twister tail styles, like the power grub, I can't say I've noticed a difference.

I think the funnest one to fish is the Powerbait [jerk-bait] Shad, I like the profile and the way it slides in the water.

I have had success with the Gulp! Leeches worked on a jig. They tend to be an attractive bait for anything at the bottom of the lake though. We have caught small panfish and bass with them plenty of times, which isn't really what you want when targeting walleyes.
