Brian Jones
Now if Rob would have just held the real one like he did the replica! Thats ok though we will cut him some slack since it was his first musky of his musky hunting career.

10,000 Casts
With replicas that good, it makes you wonder why anyone would want to keep a fish. Very nice fish, nice choice on the replica, someday, I will have one of those monsters above the fireplace in the cabin!
troyfideldy
Who did the the mount? Looks like a beauty mount. Might have to go out and try to catch that muskie again since she is bigger now too.
musky_tail05
Thanks for the compliments, guys. The replica was done by Joe Fittante out of Antigo, Wisconsin. The pictures don't do this replica enough justice. It is INCREDIBLE! The amount of detail is beyond belief. You need to see it up close and in person in order to truly appreciate the painting tecnique. It looks exactly like how I remember the fish. I highly reccomend Joe's work and if I ever have another one done, he will have my business.
BigWadeS
very nice, that is one of the nicer replica's I've seen..congrats on a monster fish too!
LEECH21
Awesome replica! Looks great! I myself have looked into musky repos and Joe is one of the best in the business. I just got my Largemouth Bass replica back and it too looks awesome. With the quality of repos these days there should be no reason to keep a trophy fish, in my opinion. Great job on the catch and release!
kkahmann
I really wish everyone would go the replica route. That replica is beautiful and very closely matches the real fish. The Laker in my avatar still swims in the Lake
Muskiefool
Hey great fish and nice release, I love that replica, Joe is a great guy all around aside from creating some of the best reproductions available, I wouldn't go to anyone else, I know you'll enjoy it for life.
