Vexi Battery

I accidentally left my Vexilar on the other day when I was fishing and now it seems that the battery is completely dead. The only way I can get it to turn on is when the battery is charging. So do I have to get a new battery or is there anyway I can rechage it?

How long did you try and charge it for? It may take as long as 24 hours to re charge it. draining it down that low will not ruin it.

If you sucked it dry it is toast. You are going to need a new one.

If the battery froze you might have ruined it. If the battery is a couple of years old it just may be that it is at the end of its useful life. All batteries have their limits.

it didnt freeze and I charged it for more then 24 hours. I think its toast too.

What kind of charger are you using?

If it is the one that came with the battery it may not charge a dead battery. you need a smart charger that can read the low amps in the dead battery to start the charge. most chargers wont start if they can't read the battery. also you could take it to a place like Batteries Plus and they can charge it. don't give up on it yet.

I've drained my battery totally out on a few occassions on weekend fishing, but was able to recharge mine. A three stage charger might be the difference.
