Some desert plants

I was out playing with the tripod tonight and found these. Sorry I don't know what their called.

Hey explorer, it's late February in Ely, Minnesota, and you are showing me desert cacti and flowers. So I don't care what they're called. I'm just happy to have the reminder that spring will come up here one of these days and we'll have flowers of our own.

Sigh.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the first one is a cactus. Very nice shots.

I believe #2 is a bougainvillea - very nice shots, make me think of warm warm sun - aahhhhhh
