plastics kill fish?

hi i read a article in field and stream said that fish that swallow plastics cant spit it up or pass it and can kill fish im just curoius what your thoughts are i have started using gulp more they say that the plastics can last over 200 years do you think they will be banned like lead in some states just really made me think thanks

I thought the article stated that the gulp! was biodegradable and therefore safe. I hope so because thats all I use. What I really cant believe was that some people were just dumping their leftovers in the water. At least give them to the kids on the public dock if you dont want them. Thats what I try and do.

I don't think Gulp products are plastic. They are a biodegradable material.

my appoligy gulp is biodegradable and enviromentaly safe it is just regular plastics they are talking about. and yes just throwing plastics in the water is very unsportman like

I guess the soft plastic baits expand many times there original size so it blocks up their system.

I dont think I will stop using them. I just use common sense and my used plastics end up in the garbage not the lake.
