John Prine will be in concert 4-11-08 at the Mayo Civic Center Rochester & the 12th at the State Theatre Mpls. Tickets are on sale now. Iv'e got mine for the Mpls show. Saw him in 06 in Duluth.Excellent show.

Am I going to have the whole theatre to myself ?? The show in Duluth was sold out so I know there are other fans out there like me. A little more tummy & a little less hair than we used to have but I still know all the words to the old songs.I can't sing a note but after a few morgan cokes it dosen't matter.

I like Prine, but can't make it to the Mpls. show.

The disc, In Spite of Ourselves, is one of our "campfire classics". Great covers of classic country standards. Good stuff.

I didn't know he was appearing any more. I'll have to dig out the vinyl and live in the 70s. Pretty sure I have a VHS of when he appeared on Austin City Limits.

I think I enjoyed most of the 70s. This would probably be a good show.
