Livintofish One study that my bio friend in Idaho sent to me is titled "Influence of harvest, climate, and wolf predation on Yellowstone elk, 1961-2004" Authored by John Vucetich, Douglas W. Smith, and Daniel Stahler.

It is a great read and does offer some enlightenment on the topics you and i have discussed at length before.
