BLACKJACK
Yesterday morning I did my normal weekend routine of grabbing a cup of coffee and watching and counting the deer as they leave my five acre corn plot, yesterdays count was 28 deer!!! Four of them were bucks - a spike, two small eight points, and one real nice eight point - out beyond the ears!!! Hopefully he'll survive the cars and coyotes!! And they nicely paraded by at 150 yards for good spotting scope viewing. Also counted 12 pheasants in one plot and 26 in another plot. This is the time of the year that really makes the time and $$$ spent on food plots worth it!!! Walked thru the corn later on Sunday and theres quite a bit left, hopefully it will last thru Feb and the worst of the cold weather.
