maros91
I have seen tracks in my yard that lead up to the bird feeder but have never seen them until today. The pick is not very good as I took it in my upstairs and shot it downstairs through the window. This whole winter I have seen the pheasants on the roadside picking gravel. Dbl
Good to know these guys are surviving this nasty winter. Wonder how this will affect populations next fall?
MN Shutterbug
I understand that the cold doesn't really have much of an effect on the pheasants. It's the blizzards that plug up their nostrils and cause them to suffocate. We went thru a longer cold streak than this last February, and the population was still awesome. Steve Foss
Cool to see pheasants in the yard. None of those up here! Reminds me of my time in N.D. Thanks for sharing it with us.
