Anyone out at night yet?

Just curious if anyones been out calling at night with the snow and full moon - especially with the cold temps I would think its ideal. I've been too durn busy at work to get out.

I have been two nights now and nothing, but monday at 1300 a buddy called one in. where i have been hunting it seems that the coyotes have been more active during the day then they are at night.

I have found just the oposite that the coyotes have been moving at night and being lazy during light periods. If your looking to call in some educated coyotes, night time is the best time to do it! Just my 2 cents

I agree with what walleyes said, for some reason these couple of farms that i have access to the yotes are moving in the day. yesterday i had one land owner call me when i was at work and he said that was a convoy of three yote going right through his cow yard and that was at 1400. but in the past i had much better success at night. I will be out this weekend saturday for sure and hope to post some pics on how i did.

we went out from yesterday from7:30pm to 5:00am this morning and we called in 7 different coyotes had a big pack bust us and started howling at us and we has misterious animale 5ft behind us in the cattails and we couldn't see them. but they all were very active last night and they would be comming in 5min into the calling. it was really fun.
