Snowshoe Birds

Put a heater in my blind today and sat for awhile. Terrible side light while I was out there, so had to do a little blending to get them close.

I love the snowshoe perch Ken. The backgrounds are perfect to make these guys stand out, excellent stuff! Like them all.

These are all so nice but I like the detail in the little chickadee -- especially round the eye. Very well done.

Good work, Ken. snowshoes make great perches, especially older ones like these with the varnish worn off.

Great photos Ken, I love the snowshoe perch! I too, like the Chickadee the best but the lighting on all of them are great.

Thanks everyone! I've been playing with a 100-400 and have been struggling. This is the first time out of the blind with it and some of the better shots I've gotten with it.
