Has anybody used these and how do you think they work?

You pay for what you get. I've looked at them at the store and a couple things put me off. First, the cable seemed very weak. It was thin and the coating didn't feel very thick. Secondly, it runs off of D cell batteries. Those can get really expensive. I believe there is an adapter so you can run it off a 12V. If you're looking for a bargin camera that you wouln't use very often, this would be good for you. But for 20-30 dollars more, Cabelas has the Marcum 280 (I think) for 130 and at the end of the season you could find them on sale and also possibly get a rebate if you have a card to the store. Bought one used it one time one Mille Lac worked great till it just when the sun thought about going down then it was down. Brought it back and bought a cabella's one and it worked way better towards dark comes with a water proof case and a vex battery. much better and only 20 bucks more.

How big is the screen on the cabelas cameras? Do they come with a charger and stuff or what kinda batteries do they run on? Sounds like a good deal, i may have to make a run down to cabelas sometime for one. Do they work well in the summer too?

Yup, 5.5 inch scree and 12 V battery. Uses infared tecnology to light it up after dark. Doesn't work very good but what can you do. They also have the 7" screen for 180$.
