There was a post earlier about using flouro leaders which I am really excited to try, but now I ahve a question about putting them to use. What is the best way to approach this, do you tie a few with a swivel and switch out when you switch lure, or do you tie ~3 ft on and after you change lures a few times and the leader gets too short (maybe 12-18 inches) you cut it off and start new again. Thanks for all the help!

Tie the flouro leader to your main line with a back-to-back uni knot, or use a small swivel. Use 3 - 4 feet of flouro. After you've retied a few times and shortened up the flouro leader too much, cut it off and start over with a new 3-4 foot leader.

It's not very often I use a flouro leader. I usually fish with P-Line or Gamma, both copolys, and both work great in the majority of situations.

I do pretty much what perchjerker said if I haven't already respooled the reel. I just use a small swivel (gives you good action under the ice anyway) and they tie and retie the jigs. When they get too short, put a new one on.
