Structure question

I read alot about fishing inside turns. Is there somewhere I could view an illustration of this type of structure. I believe I know what it is but would like clairifaction.

Imagine a capital letter 'L'

The 'inside turn' is to the right of the vertical leg and above the horizontal leg. Imagine that is deep water above and to the right, and shallower water below and to the left. That's an inside turn on a breakline.

The 'outside turn' is left and below the two legs of the 'L'. Imagine that is deep water, and the shallower water is is above and to the right. That's an outside turn, also known as a point.

Thanks for the the illustration. It would stand to reasn that this area would also be good for Perch as well as walleye.

They would probably trade spots during light and dark periods.

another way of looking at it... An inside turn is where the deep water is nearest to shore on any given sturcture that is attached to shore. During different times of the year, any species can be found in these areas... Depending on the cover available and depth.
