zelek
I just purchased a '99 Ski Doo that has a little over 900 miles on it. The previous owner was using synthetic two stroke oil and I'm wondering if I should continue with that or switch over to regular two stroke mineral oil. The dealer says they don't recommend synthetic anymore, but I know some die hards that run nothing but Amsoil synthetic. Anyone have any commets about this?? Thanks! SledNeck
Your raves will be cleaner running amsoil interceptor. BUT since they said your sled was engineered to run on mineral, they say thats what you should use... Maybe you should run blend if you're worried. Although company brand oil is seriously overpriced. Uncle Bill
If it were mine, I'd run synthetic.I've run synthetic in snowmobiles asold as 1991. Never been an issue. If the sled had high miles and runningorganic, I could understand the logic. But, with 900 miles and already runningsynthetic, why switch to organic ?I'm not giving you advice, just myopinion.Ultimately the decision is yours. CalderPointCabin
don't waste your $$ on full synthetic.use regular mineral oil and clean your rave valves once per season and you'll be fine.
