Chemist congrats. Mistermom you are incorrect with your statement 'birthweight indicates nada' just ask your wife. On a serious note when is a good age to get the new family addition a fishing rod? Also any suggestions on the best way to introduce a youngster to fishing? Do you fish from a dock with many ravenous sunnies? I can't wait if you couldn't tell.

Congrats. On the youngster. Mine should show up in July. Can’t wait to take the little rascal out on the lake. I’ll have to move the guy’s down the line in priority, and make way for Vex. Jr. whether it’s a boy or girl.

Well I have a 3 yr old son. He has sat out on the ice with me last winter until 10 at night. And this past summer at midnight he still didn't want to come off the dock. A couple of weeks ago I had the boys out so they could fish they did pretty well for behaving. But they sure did get a kick out of watching the other guys pulling in some nice cats.

Some of my best memories are from my dad taking me fishing. I can't wait to create some of those memories with my son.
