Nick Kuhn
This seems like the only appropriate place to post.In the near future the family and I will be heading to Orlando for a week. One of those days I want to get out and try some salt-water fishing. Ideally I would like to have a good chance of putting something in the boat that's bigger than MN waters can kick out. Anyone know a good charter service that provide license and equipment? It doesn't have to be private either, just reasonably priced for 4 of us to go. MJCatfish
If you're willing to travel to Marathon, in the Keys, I'd suggest Mike Biffel from Big Dawg Sportfishing. He loves to fish and is an excellent guide. If you do a search for Big Dawn Sport Fishing, you'll find his site. We had an awesome experience with him.MJ
UdeLakeTom
I just got back from Cocoa Beach...there are many charters out of there...It's about a 30 min drive east from Orlando.I just don't know which is the best.
Ufatz
You wil have to look for what is generally called a "party boat". Chances of finding a guide who will take a party of four aboard a smaller in-shore boat would be slim I would think. I'm sure you'll be able to find one of the larger boats that is more capable of taking children etc.Have fun.
firfyter
If it were me I would trade the saltwater fishing to go do some bass fishing at Lake Toho. I've done it before, and it is well worth it. I have also done some salt water fising in Florida. (I have family that lives down there) I have always had way better luck saltwater fishing the Gulf Coast side. Calmer and warmer water seems to have been the best for me in the past.
