Bowfishing rule change

Realize its all about spearing right now, but for you bowfishers out there, just an update on the night fishing rule change for '08. It is now legal to bowfish at night with lights June and July. This has come about due to the hard work of the Land of Lakes Bowfishing Association and the MSAA. This will be a big step forward for bowfishing in MN.

There is a list of lakes open to night bowfishing. Contact DNR for a copy. There are quite a few spread out pretty well, hope your favorite lake is on it!

Shoot now im going to have to rig my boat with lights and batteries. Actually this is awesome. This is a great recreational activity and the more carp we can get out of the lake the better fishing will be for everyone else.
