Question

Anyone know where it's located on this car ?

Sons girlfriends car had only high fan until yesterday when it ooped out smile.gif

Been under the hood on one before but don't remember much about the firewall.

Don't really remember much of a firewall on it at all if I remember right.

Nice schematic!

This looks very easy. You should see it with out having to drop glove box. Just look under glove box for wire going to a plug in at a black plastic box area. Unplug elec. connector and unbolt resistor. Pull resistor straight out and replace with new one. Be careful when putting in new resistor. You do not want to bump or bang filaments against housing.

I would think this would take less than ten minutes to replace, unless this is a forward view of heater box/plenum, then it would be a nightmare.

Got the same problem on my GMC Sierra and e-mailed Airjer about it the other day.

Fan Speeds 1-2-3 don't work, but 4-5 kick butt! wink.gif

Last year, I thought I recall 1-2 not working but 3-4-5 worked well. This year its just 4-5 and 4 is a good hurricane in that truck.

So I'll be replacing the same thing when I find time.
