These are from 2 weeks ago at Lac Qui Parle. Did not have time to post these but thought I would.

Is that a Racoon walking on the beach in the second shot??

I did not see any racoons on the beach that I was aware of. The day this was shot, It was cold as hell, 45 mph wind, and mild mist in the air, IF I got a pic of a racoon in there it was my lucky day. I was way underdressed for the weather but want to get some shots anyway.

If you are looking at upper right side near the water, I think it is just some weed.

Yep, I remember that day. It was a sh***y one. Nice job, considering what you had to work with.

Nice shots. I went to lac qui parle state park last year during the peak of the migration, and I have never seen so many geese in my life. Flock after flock were flying overhead all day long. Anyone who enjoys nature should try to make it out there at least once during the migration.

Been there....35 years ago I tromped all over both sides of that lake. Appleton as home, made for easy exploration.
