ATV Question

My Brother and I were looking at a three wheeler (cheaper) but mom and the wives nixed and said 4 wheeler instead (more expensive)

Is a 4X2 an answer or is a 4x4 a must?

if you get a 4x2 there will be some time when you are out with your atv and will think back to this time and say... $%^* *&*^( ##%#%$ i should have gotten a 4x4 but then again when in the last few years have we gotten enough snow...

If you get a 4x2 make sure you get chains for the rear. If we get the little amount of snow that we usually do, your 4x2 w/chains would work great.

Then there's also the mud thing in the spring and fall where the 4x will be appreciated. Unless you opt for the winch instead.

People that buy 4X4's don't talk about wishing they would have gotten a 4X2, but you will hear guys with 4X2's wishing they would have gotten a 4X4.

The only good side is if you get a 4X2 and are someplace you would get stuck with a 4X4 you'll get stuck on the edge instead of in the middle

If you were OK with cheap 3x2, I'd think you'd be OK with a cheap 4x2. JMHO. Last I checked, you didn't have to own an ATV forever; you can always upgrade after figuring out what your needs are.
