Any ideas on getting a buck that showed up at 10:42 on my trail cam last night 2 come in during the day? I'm desperate! My 1st year dear hunting I filled out & the last 3 I havent even seen 1, but just over night a 9er show up at his scrape after I put a drip bag out at 5pm yesterday. Its huge, I've never had a chance at such a nice buck B4, so any help would be very much appreaciated,thanx

I would place either a mock scrape there or put some doe in heat there and climb in for the day.

If you know where this buck is bedding, then hunt a little closer to his bedding area. When the does are really hot, the bucks will be running and chasing all day long.

I dont know excactly where he's bedded but the area It's about 1/4-1/2 mile upwind, thanx for the info I'm headed out right now, & it looks like its gunna be a long day 2morrow

I would venture to say that the day wont be to long if you drop the buck your looking for. Big bucks are not an easy prey and can usually only be harvested at this time of year.

Sit tight, enjoy the outdoors and just maybe he will stroll by and make your year.
