fishyguy
LMITOUT was very quick to pounce on our Gopher thugs but he seems to be a little slow coming with this news. Plus I seem to remember a rumor about a Bison player and sexual assault last spring. Anyone know if he was?FARGO, N.D. -- North Dakota State backup defensive end Bryan Reimers, who faces charges in a fight outside a Minnesota bar, has been suspended indefinitely.Reimers allegedly was involved in a fight outside a bar in Sleepy Eye, Minn., in the early morning hours of Oct. 7. Reimers, who is from nearby Springfield, Minn., had two tackles in NDSU's 35-16 victory over California Davis earlier that day.The sophomore was charged with third-degree assault, fourth-degree assault, fifth-degree assault, consumption of alcohol by a person under 21 years of age and fleeing a police officer not in a motor vehicle, a Brown County court administrator said.Court records said an argument turned into a fist fight and Reimers ran when police arrived. LMITOUT
I saw this story too, but didn't think it was anything noteworthy. A fight is one thing, who hasn't. Probably shouldn't have hit the cop, but he'll pay for that too. Taking advantage of an unconcious female is quite another. That's all that needs to be said about that. fishyguy
A thug is a thug. A crime is a crime. I wasn't comparing crimes as you are right, they don't compare, but lets give equal time to all punks and thugs. Considering your attack on the entire U of M athletic department over the U of M story, I thought my level of reporting was appropriate. Don't forget you called out all us fans for even caring about our local university. Your quotes are below if you forgot.Looks like the Gophers are off to a flying start.....what a bunch of punks. The entire U of M athletic system has been a joke since the beginning and always will be as there sure doesn't seem to be any indication of things changing. Nope, don't root for the team. I just like ridculing the people who do and ask why? Why support such a joke year after year? That goes for most of the pro teams in town as well. Aren't fans tired of being pulled around by the nose and chasing the dangling carrot that these teams hang in front of them year after year with excuses and false hopes? fishyguy
I forgot to ask. If your NDSU Bison went in the tank for an extended period of time (I know you don't believe they ever will but just pretend). Would you still be a fan? You also forgot this: Division II National Champions It is kind of like saying that Edmonton Eskimos are a better football team than the Detriot Lions because they have more championships. The level of competition is not the same.
LMITOUT
I was waiting for someone to say that, and I have to say this: It's all relative.
