I took the mallard photo with a Tamron 70-300mm. I had it on auto since I was sneeking on them so I didn't get the fast shutter speed that I wanted but overall it turned out nice.

Head and body are sharp and the blurred wings add a great effect!

Thanks everyone,

I'd driven by that trestle 5 days a week for 5 years. Most days I would drive by it and think that it would make a great photo. Since I got my new camera I've been waiting for a good photo op. I can't wait for more during the upcoming seasons.
