October in southern Canada????

Thinking of going up to a lake maybe twenty miles north of the boarder around the full moon of Oct.Anyone fish this up there at this time?Should I plan for snow, wind, sleet,or maybe all three things at the same time? Any thoughts would be appreciated.Getting tired of competeing for trolling passes on Mille in central MN.

Lake of the Woods out of Nestor Falls or Morson. It's a great time for Walleyes and Crappies. Morson would be my pick.

[Eastwind]

I fish LOW out of Morson every year the first weekend of October. You should expect 70 degrees and sunny, snow or anything in between.
