HAAAAALOOOOO Again Everybody,

Harry Carry here from the great beyond singing the seventh inning stretch as my good friend Geno's Cubbies prepare to do combat in the playoffs. Geno spelled backwards is Oneg...Anyway

Congrats Geno, now you went and stepped in it. You have just committed yourself to another few weeks of nerve wracking games with your beloved Cubbies. Keep sipping the Cubbie Blue Kool-Aid but keep the Pepto and Jack Daniels close at hand!!!!!! And enjoy the roller coaster ride!

Hot Streak??? The hot streak belongs to the Rockies and Phillies. Hot Streak and Cubs is like International Falls and South Beach. Sad to say, that since both play in a respectable DIv, they might not make the playoffs. Either way, I'am looking for an even 100 years-- how about you???

Go anybody but the cubs.

Alright Geno congrats to your cubbies! Represent the NL Central like the Cardinals did last year, ok!

It will be tournament time after today. Getting psyched for the playoffs and some good ball coming soon and even these wild card races going down the wire have gotten me stirred up for the post season. Good luck to everyones team that made it and go Cubs!

Totally agree with you. Being a Twins fan, it's hard for me to cheer for the Sox, but you can bet your bottom that if it was the Sox representing the AL this year and Cubs the NL-- I'd go out and by a Paulsie jersey and maybe throw in a Jenks t-shirt!!!! Over in DSM with the farm club being the I-Cubs-- it's all we hear about on the news, Cubs and more Cubs. What about the fact that Boston won the east being the first team in 12 years to de-throne the Yanks?? I guess a loser gets more press than a winner??? I guess it comes down to the fact that anybody can win once, but a repeat winner with all gunning for you is a difference maker. I do think the Cubs take Webb and the Backs' to 5 games only to see Zambrono go Joaquin Andujar in Game 5.

Shut your pie hole and enjoy your Cubbie Playoff Kool-Aid, ole man! Me and my new buddy Mud are subscribing to the "misery loves company" theory and are soothing each others wounds. You have enough on your plate figuring out how your Cubbies are going to get past the pitching staff of the Diamondbacks. I hope you are packing your anti-venom because those Diamondbacks pack quite a punch! LOL

And for your information we are a 3rd and 4th place team if you please!!! LMAO

      got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out

      Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!

      we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
