Oil changing on F75

Has anyone ever used one of those gizmos that pumps out oil from a 4 stroke that pumps it out through the dipstick tube? When I change oil on my F75 its quite the mess...I'd like to minimize the spilled oil and thought that if the dipstick pump works I'd get one. Or, if that doesn't work do any of you have a technique that I could try.

I just changed the oil on my F75. Get another set of hands. I had my buddy hold a 5 gallon bucket and I took the plug out. Didn't get a drop of oil on the floor only some on my hands. When it got to the point where there was only a slow drip of oil I taped a small plastic cup below the drain and let it drip for 1/2 hour. Before removing the filter, I packed some paper towels below the filter. However, when I removed the filter, I quickly tiped it upward so it would hold the oil like a cup. Didn't get any mess. The only bad part is I now have to transport my used oil.

I just changed the oil on my Merc 75hp 4st EFI last weekend and used the PELA OIL PUMP EXCHANGER 6000 model, which hold over 5 quarts. It worked great, no mess at all, it did take well over an hour to finally get all the oil out but did give me time then to full drain the lower unit and change that out too while the oil pump was working. They are a bit pricy. I'd give the Pela 6000 oil change pump 5-stars.

The problem with pumping the oil out with these devises is that it doesnt take all the oil off the bottom, it leaves the metal filings, and dirt on the bottom, and it doesnt take out all the oil. To use it properly, suck the oil out with it, then pull the drain plug afterwards and rinse engine with a few ounces of clean oil when drain plug is out. But then you still have the mess of the drain plug, so you might as well pull it out from the beggining!
