Moose calls

Has anyone ever used the coffee can moose calls?

Have one of birch bark but want a back up, did some experimenting and it sounds ok, but would appreciate some feed back.

We used both a store bought call with a reed , and also made our own call using a 24 can cardboard pop case. just rolled it up and used duct tape and string to make a handle. Worked and sounded better than the store bought caller. it was also nice because you could lay it flat in a pack, then when it was time to make noise, just open it back up! We just got our bull back from tax. this week! Enjoy the hunt!
