Aquatic Vegatation

Does anyone know any good sights or past threads were I can see what cabbage/coontail, and other aquatic vegetation looks like? Its my understanding that bass prefer certain types of vegetation over others. Whats your thoughts?

You are very much on the right track.

Check the Minn. DNR site, (click natural resourses)and you will see pix and descriptions of aquatic plants.

Your local DNR fisheries office should also have some literature or other info for you.
