Alan
I have seen these on a few boats. The crank that it mounted in the back of the boat, that raises and lowers the anchor that is on the front of the boat. So you don't have to get up and pull the anchor up or put it down. Does anyone know what I am talking about, or where I can get this device?
IFallsRon
You can get them at Fleet.
Flaco651
The "device" your talking about is known as an anchormate.

graybeard2
I had one, and didn't really care for it. Too slow, hard to crank up, but a good place to store the rope. Now I just use one of those cheapie pulley deals that I can still work from the back, only drawback is the rope has to lay on the floor. Nice thing about it, it's a lot faster, easier to let out extra rope, and if someone else is with me, they can run it from the front of the boat also.
