I think they later abandonded this and went to the standard 7.62 x 39 that the Russian bloc countries used. As far as the 7.62 x 52 goes, I have no idea. 7.62 x 51 is the old NATO round, which is essentialy a .308 Winchester. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
