Open whell driver Dario franchetti will join Ganassi racing next season. He will be Montoya's teammate in the #40 car.

Sounds like Ganassi is still without a sponsor for that car though and they don't know what they are doing for sure. Franchitti is definitely in the works for something though as they've had him testing COT's this week and they've announced Stremme is a free agent for next year (although they are saying they may try to add a fourth car to keep him).

Another sad day for IRL, I have been really enjoying the IRL races this year much more so then Nascar its a great battle for the points title this year....
