Harvey....Another DEI engine goes to ****!!!!

I see at the DEI testing session at Iowa Speedway on Wednesday that another DEI engine went ka-put on Dale Jr. The number of motors that DEI has lost this year is unbelievable.

I do not know if it was just a DEI motor or one of the new DEI / RCR combo motors.

As of late it seems that its 1 or 2 a week. Fine motors. Shall we say they are fast while they last.

To make things even better, California is typically hard on motors anyhow. I would be pretty nervous if I drove for DEI this weekend.

I was so tired of watching another BORING COT race and with the TV coverage as poor as it was, I turned the channel. Is it safe to assume another good run was stopped by the great DEI motors?

Yep, another top 5 for Jr. disappears thanks to motor issues again. Kinda interesting what he said afterwards about how it's only happening to him and not as much to his teammates. Hmmmm?

I listened to his interview after the race and yes, I would agree that he was somewhat upset. Take the last 3-4 races where he has blown with one maybe being his fault and he would be in the final 12. I would guess every race for the rest of the year when it gets down to the end he is going to be wondering if he will make it.

Next year all will be better for Jr and his motors. Good bye Theresa.

Yea, working on Tony Stewart for 2nd place with 5 laps to go and his engine blows again. UNBELIEVABLE!!! I have Direct TV Hot Pass and after the race they interviewed Tony Eury Jr, and he was pretty emotional and he said, "I know it's not sabotage, but...." and further expressed his disappointment and how he felt bad for Dale Jr. as he has been driving his hind end off.

Just the simple fact that Tony Eury Jr. even mentioned the word sabotage leads me to believe that while he may not want to believe it's happening, he's definately wondering if it is happening. 5 blown motors for Jr. this year, and 3 of them while he is running in the top 5.

The last 30 laps he was racing pretty hard with the 20 and the 24. Alot of side by side this may have helped.

What's even more interesting is that they are running the old Chevrolet engines, not the new RO7 design. They say that the change in fuel is giving them problems, but since they have allegedly teamed with RCR than there should be more engines blowing than just DEI's.

Sabotage? hmmmm.
