Good luck, Tom! The bucks I've seen lately have been in full velvet still. I've never shot a velvet buck, but sure would like to. However, it won't be this year! Wife's scheduled to be induced this coming Sun, so I'm not going to be in the woods for a while.

We have all fall Scoot. I shot a buck in velevet a few years ago on opener and I will say this. Very hard to pull the deer by the rack as you cannot hold on to it. Just like grease.

Just got back from her last apt.- dialated to 2 and 90% effaced. Everything looked to be progressing along normally. If she doesn't go sooner, she'll be induced this Sun. I'm getting pretty dang excited to see the little bugger!
