Pheasant Ridge Hunting Preserve ?

Has anyone hunted at this game farm by Ogilvie? I usually don't hunt game preserves but with a new pup I need to find someplace in the north metro to get him on some birds. Any info would be great. Thanks DrJ

I've shot there twice. It's the only shooting preserve I have been to, so I can't say how it compares to others. Each time the owner/operator, Mike I think, was very nice with us. Seems the place gets busy on the weekends. A call ahead is a good idea.

another place to try is major avenue gun club out in Glencoe. They've always got birds. Also, if you go, try to talk to Brian, he's the trainer out there and tell him that Grant sent you. He'll know who I am, and he'll take great care of you and make sure that you're on birds.
