Desulphator chargers

My neighbor has one, a 12V 3 stage maintenace charger-desulphator. I have used it when I can't keep a charge on my trolling batteries. Seems to work, he says it pulses the sulfur off the coils, kinda like refreshing the battery. Anyone use one of these, I'd like to purchase one.

My OB charger has that mode, but MinnKota doesn't make that model anymore. Dunno who else does.

It's called "equalization" mode on mine.

Brand name Peak I thing at Wal Mart bout 50 bucks 12-6-2 amp charge with batt. recondition.I used it on one older batt that would last one trip and be low now it works for a few times out.

Yes, It does breath new life into old batteries.
