With the chat lately about people possibly wanting to drop out of the contest, I just thought that I would put this up and see what interest there is. I for one would like to sub yet if a possibility. I would definately give an honest effort to help whatever team I would end up on. Just thought I would throw this out there.

It sounds like mpsteckel is willing to step aside due to unforeseen circumstances. Instead of having a long drawn out discussion about it. I'm just going to go ahead and make the change. Crazy you are now Team River Rats.

Once again, this is not a perfect system and admittedly I could have made things better, but as long as there is someone willing to put forth an effort and also another willing to step aside, I see no issues.

I'm gonna give it my all! I caught my first flat last night, nothing huge 10lb 5oz, but I got to net as 30lb fish for a buddy! What an awesome time, even though it wasn't on the end of my line! I am not too worried about the channels though, I have caught some nice ones lately and we know where they live!! grin.gif

I know, it's all talk. Tomorrow am is really just an experiment, the area that we are going to fish was seriously flooded and we are going to a new spot just to see what we can wrangle out of the water. I am not really expecting any miracles. I think that a couple of fish would be quite lucky if we can get any at all.

Who knew one could fish flooded conditions in August. This has peeked my interest and like DTRO said “pumped“ me up again. I wish I could get out with Tom on Sat. but I have a long day of siding my old mans garage. I was roped in and have been putting it off all summer. Friday night, we will get down kind of late and who knows, stay out all night again. I figure it will be late morning start on Sat. and a late night finish on siding. Again, good luck in am
