Renneberg
I heard the weatherman say something about a big snow storm on wednesday this week. If that happens it will be hard to get another warm spell.

Drake
Here in northwestern Minnesota (Blackduck/Red Lake) our temps are taking an even bigger dive. Tonight is going to be 5, and tomorrow and Tuesday it's only suppose to get 14 and a low tomorrow night of Minus 1! Keep that ice building!------------------Drake Moteldrakemotel.com(888)253-8501[email protected]

Jim W
All current indications with computer models etc., are leaning towards and EL NIno pattern this winter.Last evening the Weather Channel's December forecast called for above average temps for the Northern plains and average precip.Keep the rods bendin'!!!Jim W
Jarrod32
It was 4 degrees (thats 'four') this morning. I took note this weekend of which lakes were frozen over; they should be good to go next weekend, as the forecast is calling for highs in the 20's and lows in the teens for the next five days. No mention of snow until Saturday.....
Havin' Fun
It was -2 this morning here in Detroit Lakes. Plenty of ice forming here. I will be out and about checking thickness tonight. I'm guessing most small, shallow lakes have 3-6 inches of ice. Some of the deeper and larger lakes were still open last night. Ottertail, Pelican, Big Cormorant, ect. Walking has commenced on many lakes though.
