Fireworks

All the fireworks photos posted by Paul lately motivated me to give it a try. We had fireworks for Western Day's here in Chatfield. It was not a very long show, so by the time I figured out what settings I liked, the show was over. It was nice to try something new, but I still like kicking back in a cozy chair, sipping on a cold one and watching the show. All photos taken with Canon 30D and Canon 70-200 f2.8 lens.

Great work WCS, 1 and 2 are my favorites. Very sharp.

I like 1 and 5. % looks like a trantuala.

I like #4 because it almost seems like macro of a flower.

Nice! No. 3 has a stark simplicity to it I Iike, and I think a large print of the last one would show a lot of subtlety.

Yikes, I hope you didn't agree with her — that would be dead husband walking! No woman, and I mean NONE, wants her hair to look like Cyndi Lauper's anymore. Who knew that a fireworks shot could be so 1980s.
