Glue to use on Fletching?

As happens when practicing, I've managed to rough up the fletching on a few arrows, making their flight very untrue. Just was wondering what the right kind of glue to use is. Would any old archery shop carry some? Thanks.

Use the Bohning Fletch-Tite Platinum for carbon shafts.

I'd buy by the gallon and use a dispenser bottle. This made laying a consistent bead much easier and a professional done arrow.

There are other products out there, thats just what I liked.

I'd recommend buying a can and dispenser bottle over the tubes. Shelf life isn't that long so maybe splitting the cost and can with a friend. Depending on the brand you can get or solvent based adhesive and being able to thin will prolong the shelf life.

Super glues do have a stronger bond, but I find the residue is a pain to clean off the shaft. I use the Goat Tuff for inserts, but If your planning on refletching your own arrows I would recommend the Bohning brand of fletching glue.

You may have to go to a pro shop for the Goat Tuff, but you should be able to find the Bohning glue at any major sporting goods store that carries archery equipment.

Just a couple questions on the topic here.

What do you use to clean the carbon arrows before you fletch them?

Is there any special type of fletching that should be used?

One more ... how long does it take for the two mentioned glue's to dry?

Thanks for the info on this helpfull topic.
