I think you hit the nail on the head, a bunch of snoozer races in a row. Pocono and Michigan shouldn't have two races.

I think alot of this "blah" is due to the chase, the points don't really mean much unless you are really close to the cut off. The top three could all change positions between now and the chase and it won't really do that much difference since they reset the points.
