slow rain

I was on minnetonka on saturday NOT FISHING!!!! I saw a few bass boats buzz by and i was thinking since it rained and was overcast all day "Somebody somewhere should be crushing them" So did anyone make it out in the weather? It was a day in which al linder would have refered to it as a "Bass Rain"

Didn't get to fish yesterday, had to work but thougt the same thing....Plus how nice would it have been to fish with out dripping sweat for once! Hope some of you were out there!!!!!!

I was out fishing both sat. and sun. with the overcast conditions. There was a pretty good bite going. On both days the frog bite was good in the morning hours and actually lasted throughout the whole day. Even though the topwater bite was going, I also fished a lot in deeper water as there was also a very good bite there. A drop shot and jig worm took most of the deeper fish. I'm hooked on the drop shot right now!
