For the bobber shop tourney in kato someone brought in a 18.5lb channel. It was 35X19, but the head on the fish was huge! It was great to see big channels comming in!

Does anyone know the weight of the winner for the mankato contest?

The top 3 flats were all 36 lbs,which is very odd that there was nothing caught over 40 lbs! Biggest channel was 18.5 lbs

That I think is funny, a friend of mines brother brought in a 37lber on a stringer and it got disqualified because of it. When they brough it in at 1pm they said it was first, then said it didnt count.

I dont think this is the case, I know they landed in St. peter, and I was fishing around the Kasota area, and I got a phone call and was told he caught a mid 30 flat, he didnt drive past me! Unless he loaded it up, and went and redocked, then came back to st peter in the morning. I will ask and find out where they caught it.

I wasnt fishing the contest, I havent participated in one in about 10 yrs. I fish for fun, not for competition.
