I just want to send a huge thank you over to Appeldoorns Sunset Bay Resort and it's general manager Paul Waldowski...

Myself and fellow guide Jason Mitchell teamed up for some tough fishing the past few days over on Mille Lacs for some toothy creatures.. But even though the fishing was tough, we did get to experience the comforts of Appeldoorns during our stay. This resort is definately a class act with a lot of amenities to us fisherpeople or just someone who wants a relaxing vacation. The friendly service, great cabins, beautiful sand beach, and picture perfect sunsets make this resort one you have to put on the top of your list. Paul works his butt off to make this place top notch and his effort was definately seen!!!

Thank you Paul for your hospitality and all that you did for us. I'll be sure to come back!!!

You said it well, Paul is a great dude, and evey stay I have had at Sunset Bay Appledorns has been nothing but a great time!

Appeldoorns was my ice fishing home last ice season. The ice house rentals were great, roomy and very clean and warm. Thier roads on the late were always plowed very clean.The service was second to none.

If one is looking for a winter or summer getaway, Appeldoorn's would be a great choice for guys or the family.
