broken zipper problem

I'm talking about my clam 5600 now. Last year late ice, I set up the clam and banked it with the drilled ice.(which could have caused the prob). And when everything was in, the zipper wouldn't shut easily and we somewhat forced it. And the zipper came un-strung and it now wont zip past half way. Where or how could I get this fixed, or should I just bring it back to Cabelas, it been through 4 or 5 winters now. Thx

I would call Clam. They've always been pretty good with customer service.

Clam's service is pretty good. But, it's been 5 or so years. You may have to look for some place that specializes in canvas. Anyplace like that should be able to add a new heavy duty zipper for you. I know there's a few on the north side of the cities, but not sure about down your way.

Canvas craft in Ramsey. My Yukon zipper broke and they charged me $60. Hope this helps.

Otherwise try Mankato tent and awning, I would imagine someone in Faribault could do this on the side as well.Good Luck
