Showalters

My Dad,brothers,brothers in law and myself are about to book a fly in trip with Showalters next summer.Does anyone have any feedback or experience with them?

We went up to their Apps Lake outpost a few years back and had great fishing. We flew out of Red Lake Ont. I would highly reccomend them. The fishing for Lakers, walleye and northern was some of the best I've had in Canada.

I haven't been to Showalters resort, but knew the family when they owned Northwest Flying Service out of Nestor Falls. They ran a first class operation at that time and am sure it is a family tradition to keep it first class. Flew out with Ralph and "Big Ed" several times.

I have fished Carrol Lake with Showalters twice and would go back again. They are very nice people who really care about you. Both Ed Sr. & Eddy are very experienced pilots. They flew us in extra supplies (Beer)that put us overweight without extra charges. I would recommend them.

Fortunately for you, you are with Showalter's!! I went with a bunch of familY members for 6 years and they were tremendous!!! The only reason I stopped was my lovely wife and lovely 4 daughters!!!! Some day the 6 of us WILL go back on a canadian fly-in and it will be with Eddy Jr!!!!!
