fishermann222
Hey guys, sorry I have not been on to answer questions much, been a busy summer. Moved into a new house in Bethel, and been netting some salmon to dry as well as rod and reel fishing. Here are a few pics from up the Kwethluk river in Western Alaska. Was a 2 day trip and 3 of us boated 102 kings, 13 rainbows, and a few other fish. 10 kings went over 40 inches.

Burbot
Fish counting station, fish and game is responsible to open commercial fishing based on escapement, the box below the weir is to make sure the correct species is the majority of the escapement. The boat in the background is probably their for the same reason to take percentages of correct species of fish moving up river. Nothing but probability and statistics fun huh?
