If we hit pool 2 tonight, deep will be the mind set. I would say the first pit stop would be a hard to fish 20-30 ( trees, no shore line and a lot of bugs) feet hole. From then a little shallower and down stream!

The steady, ordinary shore line has been a bust as of late and we are going to change things up a bit.

All this will be from shore, boat is still down from last weekend. I should of ran down to twin city outboards yesterday, but Monday I have it on my to list. A month steady of shore fishing is wearing thin, the boat is starting to peak my intreast again grin.gif.....

I haven't fished "in" a hole yet this year although I'm usually around it somewhere, up or downstream.

Shakopee area has many runs that are 1 1/2' deep right now which makes for very slow going with the boat. These shallow runs are littered with deadheads and other timber that'll cause some damage if you don't go slow and pay attention. There is still plenty of 20-30' deep water but you gotta go through the shallow stuff to get there.
