zamboni
How much do you guys think his betting on games has to do with an outcome of that game? He's not the one shooting the ball, I am thinking this is going to come down to ethics, and do you think more will come forward?

maros91
An NBA referee has been accused of shaving points and gambling on NBA games he was officiating plus other games he wasn't officiating.

lookincalifornia
nba refs are getting out of control. that tech that duncan got for laughing on the bench last year was nuts.
Scott M
Sounds like he was hooked up with the mob. Not a good thing.I think the NBA needs to get at the root of their officiating problems. Pay the refs more money, police/review the calls afterward like the NFL, use instant reply, do something.
maros91
I think he was the only one. I think it would be kind of hard for a ref to shave points and gamble on games he did. He is not the player playing or the coach sending guys in.I think the NBA is the hardest to officiate. On every play a player is whining and complaining about a call or non-call. I think there should be more "T's" handed out. NBA players should quit whining and play harder. It seems like there are no fundamentals in basketball anymore. On a missed shot nobody boxes out, they all turn and look at the basket. No one practices free throws anymore, the last two minutes in the game is free throw time. Everyone is working on how sick a dunk they can do. I don't watch the NBA anymore because it is all one on one. Well, not all of it. There are two teams that play together IMO, Utah and San Antonio. I don't like the NBA because it doesn't seem like it used to. Just my opinion.
zamboni
Yeah thats the thing- he wasn't shooting the ball, so, I don't know how much his input affects the game, but I am sure he had a little to do with the results
